It was a beautiful Spring day and an early start as the ceremony was at 2pm and there were 10 bridesmaids to get ready, including the bride, her mother and two flower girls. The ladies got ready in their custom t-shirts, made by the bride herself, while sipping on mimosas. The guys had a relaxing morning that started with a groom's breakfast along with homemade Italian cookies and a few Sambuca shots to celebrate.

The ceremony was a traditional Catholic ceremony that took place at the bride's parish. Following their I Do's they asked all their guests to gather outside the church for a group picture, before heading to Downsview Park for their wedding photos. The couple had a large wedding party of 25 people (12 groomsmen, 9 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls & 2 ring boys) so it was quite the party in the limo bus ride down. The photographer even joined and took some great photos in the limo, something we highly recommend to all our couples as sometimes candid shots are the best ones!

‍As guests arrived to the cocktail reception they were welcomed with delicious canapes by L-eat Catering along with a 24' antipasto station. The guests were encouraged to grab one of the signature drinks at the bar, which was vinyled with a carrara marble design to stick with the theme of course, while having some fun at the selfie station before entering the reception area for dinner.

The 12' seating chart was a show-stopping decor piece as it was adorned with beautiful carrara marble seating tiles with floating candles, calla lilies and roses. As soon as guests took their seats at their candlelit tables, the very entertaining grand entrances began. The groom's cousin was the MC who did a fantastic job introducing the wedding party with little blurbs about each person, which had the guests laughing and set the mood for the night. It was going to be one hell of a party to say the least! (especially since they extended the bar until 2am!)

The tables were simple, yet chic keeping with the minimalist theme. The linens were grey with white napkins, a mix of centerpieces that included orchids, roses and calla lilies, along with carrara marble table numbers and menus. Each place setting had gorgeous graphite cutlery and custom favours the couple made themselves. It's personal touches like these that make your wedding day your own and so memorable. The favours were a mix of 4 different types of spices in glass jars that had marble labels with the couples monogram and special message, "Thank you for sharing our first meal as husband and wife". It was such a nice touch as it was personal, seeing they made it themselves, and guests were able to take it home and actually use it.

‍There were two different types of centerpieces which created visual variety in the large industrial space.

The head table was U-shape and had different details than guest tables including the mirror chargers, menus and white Louis chairs.

It was an amazing celebration full of so much love and we were so happy to be part of the planning and design process right from the beginning. It's always so special seeing the couples vision come to life on their wedding day and it wouldn't have been possible without the dream team of vendors that were on board for this wedding.
