We had the amazing opportunity to showcase our wedding rentals in Toronto. This wedding was extra special for us seeing that the bride is my cousin and the groom went to elementary school with me. Let's just say, it was an honour to plan and design this amazing couple's dream wedding.

Erikka & Mathew wanted the invitations to WOW their guests and set the tone for their fabulous fall wedding. Brooklin Paper Co created the most perfect custom floral print for their invitation suite, which was used throughout their wedding. After all, it's all about the details, right?

The wedding day started with all the guys enjoying some laughs, scotch and opening their groomsmen gifts which included monogram shirts, bow ties and socks. The ladies had a REALLY early start, but that didn't stop them from sending off their balloon wishes for the soon-to-be Mr & Mrs. As the bridesmaids were getting all glammed up in their monogram robes, sipping mimosas, listening to an all girls playlist.. Erikka gave them their gifts. It included a custom champagne glass, a Kate Spade jewelry box and a unique rose gold bracelet that complimented their dresses. Mathew & Erikka really know how to show their wedding party some love!

The ceremony took place at Erikka's childhood church, which made it that much more memorable. It was an unplugged ceremony, as it was very important to the couple to have their guests refrain from using their phones and just share in their special moment with them as they become husband and wife. After the ceremony, the wedding party popped open the Veuve Clicquot and the celebrations officially begun as they headed to The Westin Prince to take pictures.

The industrial venue, York Mills Gallery, was transformed into a romantic space full of jewel tone floral, an abundance of candles and oh so many personal touches. You can see that a lot of our wedding rentals were used in the setup. It was a must to capture the big reveal as the bride and groom walked into the space. This is something we suggest all our couples do as you put so much effort into planning your special day, so why not capture the moment you see all your hard work finally come together. Family pictures started shortly after and they took place in front of their head table as it was just too pretty to pass up.

As the night went on with outstanding speeches, dancing in-between courses and special surprises like the AMAZING father and daughter dance where they busted out moves to Usher, Thriller & Crazy in Love.. all the guests just couldn't get enough. However, there was still one surprise left that only we knew about, which was a show stopping Bongo performance from Bongo & B to open up the dance floor. To say Erikka & Mathew we're surprised is an understatement. Claudia wanted to do something extra special for the couple and knew they would go crazy for some bongos to get the party started.

It was non-stop fun from beginning to end, and that's what it's all about. Actually enjoying your wedding day with all your guests. The couple didn't want the party to stop, so ended up extending the bar, so the drinks and tunes kept on flowing. Luckily they had a killer late night station that included cakes and sweets from Cocoa Cakery and some greasy goodness from McDonalds.
