An inspiring night at Ce Soir in Oakville celebrating women, while showcasing a French luxury jewelry line designed by Jean Dinh Van.

We were so grateful to be working with a past client of ours again for this special celebration hosted by Knar Jewellery in collaboration with Dinh Van Paris. Our client wanted to showcase specialty jewelry pieces from Dinh Van, so we helped design and plan a soiree for some of her female clients, who were able to bring a friend!

Our main focus was to make the space feel inviting, elegant and fun! It was an event that allowed the women to be the first to view new pieces from Dinh Van and were free to try anything on to see what they liked best.

Guests were welcomed with a custom cocktail called ‘La Bohème’ which tied in perfectly with the French theme, seeing Dinh Van is based in Paris, France.

The event was on the second floor, so we made sure to have the custom welcome sign we designed on display just as they entered the space. We included both English & French, along with the sponsors of event to showcase every brand involved.

With high focus on guest experience, we curated a menu that was fitting for the cocktail vibe we wanted to achieve, so serving a variety of delicious canapes along with a mushroom ravioli and burrata station worked well. A fun entertainment option that guests loved, was having their custom illustration done on site by the amazing, Lauren P. Who wouldn’t want to take home an illustration that made you feel like a top model?

Guests loved that they could view, feel and try on any jewelry pieces that were on display.

Since it was an all female event, we really wanted to put focus on this by including powerful quotes from strong & inspirational women which included Coco Chanel, Cher and Maya Angelou and sprinkled them around the room on custom stationery.

Seeing it was a jewelry event, having mirrors in the space was perfect, but 7 was a bit of an overkill for the type of event we were hosting. Hiring a corporate event planner and designer is beneficial for so many ways. One being that they can help you design an event that best utilizes the venue, so you save your time, sanity and money in the end!

Take the mirrors for example. It would cost money to cover them with draping or have the venue remove them, so instead we designed prints that showcased the brand and actually elevated the overall design of the space. The prints fit so perfectly in the frame, it looked like were part of the venue. It’s details like those that will create a memorable and unique corporate event.

One request from the brand was to design only using 3 colours. Because the venue was fairly dark and had a lot of brown tones, we used this to compliment our design details. Adding linen pillows to the venue’s sofas with matching ottomans, along with brown leather chairs from Contemporary Furniture Rentals helped complete the lounge areas we created around the venue.

We brought in lots of candles to create ambient lighting throughout the space, and used natural elements to soften the room. The greenery on the chandeliers helped create this look.

As the night went on, macarons were served for dessert and the giveaway winner was announced. Anyone who attended was able to enter the giveaway which included a cash prize from KNAR Jewellery, a necklace from Dinh Van and a year of Biologique Recherche facials from North Medical Spa

Guests were encouraged to stay for the dance party, but before they left, everyone was gifted a swag bag that included goodies from all the brands. It was truly a remarkable celebration hosted by KNAR Jewellery and we are truly honoured to design and plan a corporate event for them.
