If you're getting married in the Spring or Summer, or just love a pastel colour palette, then you'll want to take a look at this romantic styled shoot we recently planned and designed with some of our favourite Toronto wedding vendors and the prettiest wedding rentals Toronto. This editorial has the perfect mix of vintage and modern elements to create an overall elegant, dreamy feel.

The styled shoot took place at an upcoming new venue Poplar Hill Equestrian Estate, where you'll find lovely outdoor spaces including the luscious gardens or a beautiful open field surrounded by trees, which would be perfect for a tent wedding. Or if you're looking for a more rustic affair, then their gorgeous blue and white barn will make you swoon!

The creative was inspired by the vintage pink and blue plates & teacups which is where the colour scheme stemmed from. We wanted to mix vintage with modern to give an elegant, romantic feel. The wedding rentals Toronto that were used were old beautiful pieces such as the distressed white dessert table, blue bench and fireplace mantel along with our modern gold chairs and baby blue cutlery.

We designed different spaces for this creative, including a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with our wedding rentals Toronto, the modern gold Florence chairs in front of floral framed barn doors. Sweet Stems Floral Designs created romantic floral pieces from the hand tied bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, using a mixture soft pastel pink florals paired with pretty pale blue hydrangeas. Our milk glass vases were the perfect vessel for the smaller arrangements used on the tablescape and dessert table as they made the florals really pop.

The dreamy dessert table was adorned with pastel prettiness from the wedding cake by Baking Up Treble matching the pastel tablescape with it’s sweet blue ruffles and outstanding sugar flower design with gold leaves. It also included cute cupcakes and beautiful macarons with the most delicate details. The desserts were inspired by the Serge Jevaguine wedding dresses and chiffon table runner. The dusty blue ruffles of the bottom cake tier reflected the chiffon runner, whereas the delicate sugar flowers on the cake and cupcakes came from the floral appliques on the dress.

Thanks to Vintage VW Weddings for providing the perfect picturesque backdrop for our gorgeous bride. We filled the blue vintage truck with an abundance of floral to bring in the pastel colour scheme and it was truly magical.
